Overview

C Squared Media is a forward-thinking production company specializing in videography, photography, and digital marketing. With a focus on creative storytelling and cinematic visuals, they needed a brand identity that would reflect both their technical skillset and creative edge.

Prolific Pixel was brought in to lead the development of a full brand system—anchored by a custom-designed logo that fuses visual storytelling with precision design.

Logo Design Breakdown

The C Squared Media logo is a visual blend of tech, storytelling, and clarity.

Core Features:

  • Aperture-style “C”: The circular vortex effect pays homage to camera mechanics, representing their command of the lens and visual depth
  • Play button in the “D”: A direct nod to videography, hinting at their motion-first storytelling
  • Squared frame: Reinforces the brand’s structure, professionalism, and emphasis on framing both visuals and ideas
  • “²” mark: A subtle intellectual layer that elevates the name while reinforcing symmetry and hierarchy

The logo’s geometry allows it to feel cutting-edge and clean, making it versatile across production gear, social content, brand decks, and motion graphics.

Brand Guidelines + Visual System

The project included a fully developed brand guideline manual featuring:

  • Color palette: Midnight blue, orange-red, slate gray, and silver—striking and digital-forward
  • Typography: Bold sans-serifs for power and clarity, paired with monospace for tech-focused detail
  • Clear usage instructions for different formats and contrast backgrounds
  • Application mockups across video overlays, lower thirds, thumbnails, and packaging

Outcome

C Squared Media now shows up with a refined, cinematic identity that reflects their position as storytellers and strategists in the digital age. Whether viewed on a homepage, in a pitch deck, or branded on a camera rig, the C² mark confidently represents precision, storytelling, and visual mastery.
